No, mastering meditation is not something that comes easy to all of us. Yes, you can totally learn it and its definitly something that is easy to incorporate into your life.
Some people use Kundalini Yoga meditations, some meditate with the angels and some like me, mix it up as they like.
I am a huge fan of going through spotify to look for some inspiration on music or even guided meditations. There are even podcasts that are specificly designed to help you chill out in under ten minutes.
So you seen, lots of people do it, lots of very different people do it – you dont actually need to do yoga (even though it helps) or be super spiritual.
Just concentrating on your breathing helps you refocus your mind on something good and wonderful.
I am currently trying to meditate at least once a day and since I have been doing this for five weeks now, I can tell you, that my anxiety levels have reduced drastically. Actually, I am about to board a plane to Dubai to catch my connection to Cape Town and I am feeling so much more at ease than I usually do.
The effect this has been having on my life is amazing. Now, all I do, when I dont have my guided meditations on me, is sitting up, uncross my legs, close my eyes and breathe.
I take deep breaths through my nose and breath out through my mouth. If you do this for about 10 min or so, you will be able to feel your body relax and most importantly – your mind will be much more at ease.
As soon as I get on the plane, I will be settling into my seat, get cosy and put my playlist on, which I will be linking for you later, since my laptop is currently not letting me do this. 🙂
Sending you kisses from Munich Airport!
